Thinking of the next future meeting in Hungary, we started preparing our studnets in forms of lectures to give them some idea about what they can work on.

One of the forms was a lecture on Eagle Owl. It was presented by a member of one of the National Parks we visited during the programme. It focused mainly on the human influence on the Owl’s habitat. Thus, indirectly we introduced our students into the next main idea of students exchange in Hungary.

IMG_0096Hi everybody!!

We’re Rossella and Agata. The trip to Spain was a great experiencefor us. We spent four beautiful days in Salamanca and two days in Madrid together with European boys and girls. We want to remember the best moments of those days. The best time was certainly when we visited the Valsain forest and spent some time dancing and singing songs from the different countries. The presentations of the five countries about the environment, then, were really interesting and we are proud of ours about Etna and the East coast of Sicily!!!. Salamanca is a beautiful city with an excellent University. Students are everywhere.
Madrid is a real capital, big and full of traffic. We visited the “Reina Sofia” museum to see the extraordinary Picasso’s masterpiece: “Guernica”. We met the Turkish group there.
We hope we left a good impression of us and to see everybody in Sicily next year.

March the 7th we left for Spain. When we arrived in Salamanca, the families welcomed us very warmly and took us home. We spent wonderful days there. Every morning we woke up and went to school. Here we joined the other students and all teachers and left school to visit a lot of places. The happiest day was when we visited Segovia. It is a beautiful city and the landscape is wonderful. That day we all had lunch together and we started to make friends with our European friends, Turkish, Polish and Hungarian. Unfortunately The Spanish students rarely came with us as they were very busy at school. When we went back to our host families they prepared typical tasty dishes and did their best for us. They were fantastic! we did a lot of laughs with Noe and Marta!!
The day we left was awful. We fell in love with Salamanca!! I miss everybody a lot!!

I spent 5 days in Poland, Chojnice. I knew many gorgeous people. I’m glad, because we became friends so early.
The Polish school, where we were, contains only a few students. Everybody knows everybody.
I think if I was born in Chojnice I would like to learn in that school. I could practice  English language and I have learnt a little in Polish language.
We were never bored. The teachers made us many programmes. My favourite one was on the 4th  day,
because then we went to Gdansk, to a Technical University. We were on a lecture, and there was a professor, who was talking about how we can build solar cells.
She had some colleagues, who explained and helped us if we didn’t understand something or if we couldn’t do something.
I had a lot of experiences.
§  Our new friends taught us some words and expressions in Polish and I still remember them.
§  There were some  situations, when we had to practise to speak English and we had to show them presentations.
But we could resolve this.
§  We went to different restaurants on different days, and we tasted some traditional Polish food.
Those flavours were new ones for me and a little bit interesting too, because I don’t eat such nourishments.
§  During these 5 days I saw many cities and nice places in Poland.
§  I’m so happy, because I had such a host family, who were really helpful and kind with me.
I couldn’t have wished a better family. :)
§  We made friendships, and we still keep the connections.
§  The worst thing in this trip was that we didn’t spend more time there, we had to travel home.
We will meet on the next Comenius!
P.S. : The Polish chocolate is the best! :)
